ReplyDeleteNever cover the Benchmark of the worlds most Popular game... WoW
ReplyDeleteLinus I wonder if you could answer a general question. I have an 8600k 16GB ram with 970GTX (4GB). Last week I was playing far cry 4 on mostly ultra settings at around 100fps and it looks beautiful, far draw distances with highly detailed mountains in the background. Today I installed Kingdom Come Deliverance, I have to turn graphics settings down to medium or low to barely maintain 55fps. At these settings the mountains in the background are just grey smudges and textures are blurry and there is practically no detail at 55fps! Logic dictates that a newer game is more detailed and therefore should need a more powerful graphics card but at med or low settings Kingdom come has half the detail of Far Cry 4 on max settings!, so now I must purchase a new graphic card so I can make Kingdom Come look as good as far cry 4? I am starting to think the graphics card companies are screwing with us.
ReplyDelete1. The best one is the most expensive
ReplyDelete2. Buy the best you can afford and maybe push it a little if you see something with excellent performance per dollar.
Well I can’t even afford the cheapest recommended card. Who else can’t?
ReplyDeleteno shame advertising lol
ReplyDeleteRx580 the budget card that is not budget anymore....now what should I get ...if I have to spend this much money I think ill go for a 1070 instead now

ReplyDeleteI can only see things at 60fps to 90fps and need a big screen for 8k resolution, because my eyes are burning if i am too close to the screen.... i have a rare eye condition which makes me see things in slow motion, my monitor is blinking right now because it's at 30hz, it's annoying AF.
ReplyDeleteYoi linus you can get a 980ti for 300to 350 bucks and it can play games on 1440p ultra

ReplyDeleteHow the fuck is 1060 able to deliver 52.8fps on 1440p when 970 is like 45fps average on 1080p? You either lowered the settings a lot or you chose games with mediocre graphics...

ReplyDeleteget a 1060, it's a great card and you can find one for under 250 dollars. You can probably play all of the games you want at 1920x1080-2560x1080 with 60-75 fps with ultra settings. (paired with a good cpu)
ReplyDeleteMan i love my 1080 ti ...I play Farcry 5 in ultra 4k att 100+ fps xD
ReplyDeleteGTX 1070... best card I've got so far. I can run old games at 4k 60fps. Or newer games at 1440p 60fps. Anything else than 1070 it's honestly a luxury.
ReplyDeletePlease update this
ReplyDelete1080p 240hz. Would 1070 work?
ReplyDeletenever buy a 1060 with 3 gb.
ReplyDeleteit may have just a few FPS less than the 6gb version but the min-fps drops and micro-stuttering will get on your nerves.
