The Redmi Note 5 Pro is Xiaomi's latest budget phone from and has only been released in India.

This phone's powered by the Snapdragon 636 chip and has either 4GB or 6GB RAM along with 64GB of on board storage.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro also comes with a 12MP F2.2 camera with 1.25 size micron sized pixels and a 5 MP secondary camera.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro runs on MIUI 9.5 and features face unlock.

The Asus Zenfone Max Pro has a 5.99 inch FHD+ screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio.

Inside the Zenfone Max Pro we have the Snapdragon 636 with 3/32, 4/64, or 6/128 GB of RAM and internal storage!

There is a 5,000mAh battery inside the device.

The Zenfone Max Pro also has dual 13+5 MP rear camera along with an 8mp front facing camera which comes equipped with a selfie flash!

It runs on stock Android 8.1 oreo and features face unlock.

    Frankly speaking, speed tests are myth, none of the user will use 2 devices side by side.
    Agree that it helps in deciding optimisation, bt as far as i know, there lies difference of maximum 30 to 45 seconds.. nd that's not much as far as i know..
    Personal thoughts.

    I already possess Honor 8 which I purchased on August 2017, it's just few months older..

    Shall I move to MaxPro, what are Ur thoughts ?
    Reason is massive battery and Dual 4G, but I am skeptical about Camera & performance.

    Go for Asus if u don't want your privacy to be invaded with MIUI. They collect user data and store it in their servers through a back gate in their software like mi videocall, mi community, mi store etc.

    Miui sucks when you're planning to use your phone long term (over 2 years). It will slow your phone down with every Miui "improvement" updates. So I'd rather buy stockish Zenfone Max Pro, but I wish they'd made the phone prettier.
