The virtual goldrush to mine Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies leads us to Central Washington state where a Bitcoin mine generates roughly $70,000 a day mining bitcoin. A warehouse full of ASIC Bitcoin miners run 24/7 to manufacture Bitcoin.
The location of this Bitcoin Mine is one of the world's epicenters for mining. Cheap hydroelectric power increases margins and a major fiber backbone runs mere miles from the mine.

ReplyDeleteBut can it run Crysis?
ReplyDeleteCrypto currency is a scam and those who invest in it will cry foul when the bubble bursts.
ReplyDeleteNo you mean it's the sound of a while shit load of fans cooling the CPU's
ReplyDeleteYeah but look at the amount you need to spend on computers cooling systems other equipment, personal highly trained, the facilities, electric and water, and other miscellaneous expenses plus the fact that mining fluctuates in price. Plus I'm sure that this is not done by one person it's probably an Investment Group which all have to split the earnings after deducting the expenses is it still worth it? I don't know.
ReplyDeleteWhat good is bitcoin? If only 5 people in the world have it all and don't pass it along.... Nowadays, big coins practically just like regular ordinary money, one percent. Have it all and keep it all. Useless money
ReplyDeleteMiners are cancer to gamers while asic miners are cancer to miners. For me. Facilities like this defeats the purpose. Of a decentralize network. Oh well
ReplyDeleteWhat's the price per kWh?
