    4 main things I look for when I buy a phone is Screen quality, battery, 📷 and speakers. I guess just pick which one is most important to you and roll with that. That's why I always end up with a Samsung phone because they really do have the best screens. Why? Because you will be spending most of your time looking at the screen.

    I believe your judgement on the P20 was too harsh, i think the best way to judge it is to ask, Why did Huawei manufacture this phone ? then from there you can pass judgment for its primary intended purpose for that phone, for example the "A" is mainly a photo/video phone, does it stack up to that ?

    1. If you can't be iPhone, why mimicking it?
    2. Maybe next year, Huawei trys 10 camera lens? Not innovative at all.
    3. Purely astounding outfit doesn't mean there'll be a lot of new advanced tech in it.

    Huawei almost bought Leica, no wonder why they have such progressive photography tech added on.
    Pixel 2 has only one lens and still works fine, which this one is the most lens- embedded so far in 2018
